Pantone Color for 2020: Beating the Winter Blues with Classic Blue
What does that even mean? To beat the winter blues? Are people actually trying to beat as in slap the happy out of the color? Or beat as in it's a race to rush winter away.
In North Carolina, we have some pretty mild winters And when there's even talk of snow, chaos ensues, milk and bread and eggs fly off the shelf as if it's the only time of year to make french toast AND everyone hunkers down - to presumably dodge the weather.
But the winter blues are aptly named in 2020 because the people at Pantone have allowed us to partake in the party with the color - Classic Blue.

The color really is fabulous. In fact, take a look at this image. Doesn't it make you feel good just imaging yourself walking down this hallway with a book in hand and curling up on this amazing couch?
Classic blue is not only a fabulous choice for 2020, a year where we have perfect vision, but blue shows up in nature in so many places, specifically the sky and in water.
